“There is a cancer in this great country that has taken hold of its productive capacity in a manner as devious and manipulative as any in history. It is a disease as caustic and fatal as any known to mankind, and it is in its advanced stages. That cancer is unregulated credit, and it is destroying this country from the ground up.”

“Anyone looking at the economic situation in this country intuitively understands that there are significant problems lurking in the wings. Personal and commercial bankruptcies are at all time highs, as are foreclosures and defaults. While the Bankruptcy Bar has stepped up to the plate to provide counsel to people in extreme cases of financial distress, there is a substantial universe of consumers and businesses which lack access to attorneys who are educated and prepared to practice in the defense of credit collections cases. Into this void steps the Credit Collections Defense Network© (“CCDN”), a national network of attorneys whose sole focus is the defense of consumers and businesses in credit collections matters.”

“The purpose of the CCDN is several-fold. Its primary purpose is to act as a coordinating agent, linking clients in need with attorneys who focus on credit collections defense throughout the nation. In support of that effort, the CCDN undertakes to educate its network of attorneys to the highest level of competence in the credit collections defense practice area. In addition, the CCDN provides its attorneys with the latest legal theories, strategies, case law and pleading templates and litigation tools available today. Finally, the CCDN acts as an advocate on behalf of consumers and businesses, by working toward the reform of an unregulated banking system that is out of control. Through the development of initiatives at the local, state and federal levels, the CCDN works feverishly to provide substantive relief to all Americans by advocating reforms related to usurious interest rates, excessive fees, onerous and unconscionable contracts, and damaging and excessive collections activities.”
